Of course, it is a very sad and depressing situation, but whose fault is it? Our own. The politicians (corrupt, greedy, cruel, ambitious, and incompetent) are from among us, and we are the one who vote them in. Also, they reflect our own character --- we don't know what a nation is, we place religion before country, and we cheat at every level. So, why expect better performance from our politicians and the government. Furthermore, the government is hostage to the big-business Pakistan military. They are the real rulers who won't let any change happen that undermine their business empire. If you want to change the country, change yourself.
